We are now taking bookings for the late Summer 2012 workshop in Greece on the island of Crete. Please use the contact form on the left if you are interested in attending this or a future event.
The Workshop
The workshop will be structured around a regular daily schedule. Students will also have free time each day to work alone, request additional help or attend the optional theory and recording workshops.
Arrival will be on Saturday, August 25th. Welcome drink at 6.00 pm followed by Dinner
Leaving day September 1st after breakfast
The Daily Workshop Structure
8.00 – 10am Breakfast
10 – 10.30am Warming up and technique with Remy (scales, arpeggios and
other exercises)
10.45 – 12.30am Master class with John (assisted by Remy)
1.00 pm Lunch
3.00 – 4.30pm Work with Remy (developing a methodic approach to a tune) and recording workshops with Mike. (details and final timetabling to be arranged to suit students' requirements)
5.00 – 6.30pm Master class with John
8.00 Dinner
For the non-playing partner the local area offers rich opportunities for excursions, walks, sight-seeing or simply relaxing in the Cretan sunshine.
